Forest Journeys help people to connect with nature and reduce stress.

Forest Therapy walks are an evidence-based practice that improves people’s health and wellbeing in measurable biological and phycological ways. The decreased stress levels produced last from weeks to a month.

Through guided experiences that encourage people to slow down, become curious and engage their senses, Forest Journeys creates opportunities to experience the natural world more deeply.

The longer-term purpose is bigger than wellbeing alone:

When people connect with nature, they are more likely to understand it, respect it and care about protecting it.

What will a Forest Therapy walk do for you? Evidence based studies have proven some things will occur we probably had known instinctively.

Forest Journeys is based on the belief that nature is not simply something we look at or walk through.

It is something we can experience, notice, learn from and develop a relationship with.

The experiences encourage curiosity, observation and sensory awareness rather than requiring participants to achieve a particular outcome.

There is no need to be fit, artistic or knowledgeable about nature.

You simply need to be willing to slow down and notice.

FOREST THERAPY

Three-hour immersive experience

A guided journey into nature through the senses.

Participants are invited to slow down and follow their curiosity through a series of gentle invitations, generally lasting 10–15 minutes.

The invitations encourage participants to see, hear, touch, smell and experience the natural environment in different ways.

The approach draws on the growing body of research into forest therapy, nature connection and wellbeing.

The journey finishes with Billy tea and light refreshments, providing an opportunity to pause, absorb the experience and share reflections if participants wish.

The experience is not about walking further or achieving more. It is about being present.
